Well seeing as it is December 31st of 2013, it seems appropriate to write a post about years and things like that. But since I've still got the sick brain, I'm putting about zero effort into planning this and it will just be a jumble- I guess everything I write is usually like that.
I don't think I've ever been more excited for a new year before. Even google is excited. Not only is 2014 going to be a big year, but 2013 kind of stunk. Great things did happen this year, but overall it hasn't been the best. There is no need to dwell on the negativity however, especially because 2014 IS TOMORROW!!
I do have an incredibly great outlook for 2014. After being sick for the past week and half, I'm ready for a new beginning. And what better place to start than Bali. On New Years Day I will be waking up before 6 am to go out and see dolphins and the sunset in the middle of the ocean. It is going to be amazing. What better way to start a new year than bringing it back to my favorite childhood animal. After that, I'll have 3ish days of relaxation by the beach before going back to polluted China for school.
But even that can't completely damper my spirit because May 30th, 2014 I will be graduating. I am so excited for graduation because it means I'm done with high school and moving on to the next part of my life. Our school emails have been waiting for this year to come, and it is finally happening.
Graduating high school means going to university which I am beyond excited about. A new place, new people, new things to learn- it is going to be wonderful. This also means deciding where I want to go and getting acceptance and rejection letters. I'm not actually as scared I was. What happens, happens and I did the best that I could.
Hmm, I haven't even thought of resolutions…maybe just make it to Graduation and then I'll see from there. Or perhaps I'll put more thought into them later.
What are you looking forward to in 2014? Do you have any resolutions yet?
It's a pretty short post, mostly because I'm ready to go sit out and listen to the waves of Bali.
