I've never really been too secure about my body, face, or general appearance. But this year, I'm growing a lot more comfortable in my skin. I got a haircut that fits both my face and personality better, which helped. But more so, I got a new friend Dhalyn who loves fashion. And because of her/for her/ I've taken photos of myself, attempting to be a model. It's been a really great experience to take photos of me in cute clothes, with a little make up, because I'm starting to see that maybe I'm not as unattractive as I thought.
I first took photos with Dhalyn in November because she needed some for her Fashion portfolio and oh boy, it was rough. I think I liked maybe 1 or 2 photos out of maaannny.
That real struggle made today even more worthwhile.
I wanted to do a sort of lookbook and Dhalyn wanted to take more fashion photos so we did. And being honest, I look good in some of them and I am happy about it. It's good to think you look pretty and I finally have some photos I'm proud of (it helps that Dhalyn is a good editor). Yay confidence, no looks are not everything, but it is important to love all of yourself, and I'm getting there.

What makes you more confident?
